The purpose of the tests was to evaluate freezing and tempering times against traditional blast freezing and tempering methods. Faced with the challenge of a 72 hour freeze time for pork, Mattingly hoped to reach temperatures of 0\u00b0F in 48 hours or less while operating a -10\u00b0F freezer.<\/p>\n<p>Data from the QuickFreeze test demonstrated that the QF+ In-Rack Freezing System allowed Mattingly to reach their desired freezing and tempering goals and increase product turn rates. Due to the remarkably effective test results, Mattingly added QF+ to their Zanesville, OH facility.<\/p>\n<p>Mattingly Cold Storage is a 70 year old family owned warehousing company that provides multi-temperature range storage solutions for customers including frozen, refrigerated, and dry warehousing space.
